SummerWorks Launch Party sparks the summer season

The historic Campbell House is hosting the 2014 SummerWorks Launch Party this Friday, June 6th. If you’ve never heard of this festival, it’s the largest juried performance fest in Canada that supports and explores our city and our nation’s cultural zeitgeist.

Patrick-J-AdamsThe active evening is in two parts; the first is The SummerWorks Exclusive from 6:30-9pm where the festival lineup will be announces by artistic producer Michael Rubenfeld. There will also be a special guest performance by Patrick J. Adams (“Suits”) and a live auction. Be sure to get your tickets here.

From 9pm on the Launch Party opens its door to the public – and it’s PWYC! An outdoor dance party and an extended SummerWorks preview will be in place, dj’d by Grand Analog‘s Warren Bray.

Pair this epic auction and dance party with a food market and live art in the classic and beautiful Campbell House estate and everyone online will be envious of your incredible photos.

The 2014 SummerWorks Performance Festival runs August 7-17, 2014. Special guests include Atom Egoyan (Director, Ararat) and Arsinee Khanjian (Actress, Ararat).
