Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem hits Royal Cinema

the-zero-theorem-terry-gilliam-posterFrom August 1st to 14th, 2014, audiences can catch Terry Gilliam‘s 2013 hit The Zero Theorem at Little Italy’s Royal Cinema. The lustrious science-fiction film stars Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton.

In the latest film from visionary director Terry Gilliam (Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) Christoph Waltz plays Qohen Leth, a reclusive IT worker at ManCom who wishes to avoid the outside world, one dominated by intrusive advertising and signs forbidding even the most mundane activities. Leth’s wish is granted, but he’s then tasked with proving that zero must equal 100%, a seemingly futile exercise that has previously driven other men insane. Seeking advice from Dr. Shrink-rom and solace in the arms of a virtual sex worker, Leth becomes more and more detached from reality. The Zero Theorem presents a world that is both shockingly different yet also startlingly similar to our own. (source)
